Info about our school
Welcome to the
site that will tell you all you need to know about our school
(and some things you will probably wish that we would have kept to ourselves.)
The school colors
are black and gold, but the senior colors are silver and blue. Our school
mascots
are the Dons and Donettes of the Mastodon. We are called this because a colonel
in the Spanish American War was a Don and after the war he settled in Doniphan.
The
Doniphan High School Population includes 529 students, 3 secretaries,
2 administrators, 2 counselors, and 2 teachers aides.
Doniphan is also
the High School of two other school districts: Lonestar and Gatewood. This year
we have 26 students from Lonestar and 16 from Gatewood.
These schools pay the tuition for their students to attend our school.
