Mr. Schlief

Lowell Schlief has been a member of the School Board for 14 years.  When Mr. Schlief became a school board member, he wanted to give something back to the community. He wanted to help make the community proud of the school system, since the future lies in our youth.

Mr. Schlief went to Doniphan High School and graduated in 1972. He then attended Three Rivers Community College.  He has been employed by Alltel for 24 years. Before that, he sold insurance and was a truck driver.

He has been married to Norita Schlief for 25 years and has four children; two daughters, Kerrie, 23 and Katie, 21, and two sons, Ryan, 20 and Marc, 16.  Mr. Schlief enjoys canoeing, boating, camping, hiking and fishing. He enjoys reading the Missouri Conservationist and keeping up with NASCAR's Ryan Newman. He also enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
