 Ms. Penny Fowler is the Doniphan Senior High School Assistant Principal. Ms. Fowler attended Neelyville High School, however, she received her GED.  In 1977 she earned an Associates Degree from Three Rivers Community College.  In 1987 she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's in Special Education in 1995, from Missouri State University. She then went on to earn a Specialist in Administration in 2000 from SEMO. Prior to becoming the Assistant Principal at our school, she was the Director of Doniphan R-1 Alternative School Program for eight years. Before coming to DHS, she taught sixth grade at Cotton Plant R-1 School District, and was a teacher at W.E. Sears Youth Center at Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Family

Ms. Fowler has been married for nine years to Mr. Ramie Hopwood. She has six grandchildren. They are: Aaron, who is eight, Emma Grace, who is five, Daniel, who is three, Logan, who is two, and Kenneth, who is one.

Hobbies

Ms. Fowler likes to spend time with her family and friends and reading.
