FBLA

Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. is a national organization that serves over 225,000 high school, college, and professional members.  Missouri FBLA is a state association of FBLA-PBL with 14,439 members in 399 chapters across the state. 

The FBLA-PBL mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. Co-curricular activities include career exploration, civic service, economic education, and fostering entrepreneurship. All FBLA member pay a fee to join. FBLA members meet once a month.

The Goals of FBLA are:

  • Develop competent, assertive business leadership

 

  • Strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work

  • Create interest in and understanding of American business enterprise

  • Encourage members in the development of individual projects which contribute to the improvement of home, business, and community

  • Facilitate the transition from school to work

  • Assist student in the establishment of occupational goals

  • Encourage scholarship and promote school loyalty

  • Encourage and practice efficient money management

  • Develop character, prepare for useful citizenship, and foster patriotism

 

The local chapter is known as the Current River FBLA and has 37
