The philosophy of the Practical Arts curriculum is based on providing the students with the classroom activities that will develop skills needed to make the student employable as an entry-level worker, to enable the student to have basic expertise in home management, computer applications, and to develop social and inter-personal relationships in the workplace as well as in other aspects of the community. A hands-on approach will be taken to accomplish these goals. Laboratory situations in the classroom and work simulated classroom asignments will be utilized to develop these skills.

In order to graduate a student must earn 3 English Credits.
