• Elks National Foundation Legacy Awards – Any child or grandchild or a living Elk may apply. Must apply on-line at www.elks.org/enf/scholars  Application deadline: Jan. 8, 2010.
  
  Show-Me Chapter Scholarships – The Show-Me Chapter offers a $2000 and a $1000 scholorship for a high school senior or undergraduate. This is an essay contest. Information can be found at www.swcs.missouri.edu/scholarships/showmeswcs.  Applications must be postmarked by November 30.
  
  Conservation Foundation of Missouri Scholarship – CFMO offer five $1000 scholarships to high school seniors or undergraduates in different natural resources areas. Preferences will be given to those demonstrating financial need. Applications must be submitted by Dec 31^st.  Information may be found at www.swcs.missouri.edu/scholarship.htm
  
  Country Mart Scholarship – Open to high school seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA and must be planning to attend a major post-secondary institution or trade.  For more details visit www.mycountrymart.com

• Block out the Sun Volleyball Tournament team entry forms are in the office. Turn forms and money in by November 18 for early bird special.

• Members of the community would like to start a Poiltical Science club.  This would involve discussions of current events, and help students develop an understanding of how we develop our world views.  Anyone interested or wanting more info may sign up with Mrs. Burkhart.

• The 2009-2010 Senior Surey results will be posted in the lobby by the end of the day on Monday, November 23rd!
