From the desk of Mrs. Pruiett: Well, I don't know about you, but I am sure glad that fall is starting to show. The cooler temperatures, gardens are beginning to harvest, and Halloween candy is one the shelves at Wal-Mart. Fourth grade is going to be doing some cool things in the next couple weeks. What a way to welcome in Fall. September 1-no school-Labor Day September 5-Friday-Fourth and Fifth grade classes are going to travel to Gainesville to experience the Rendezvous. It is a great to celebrate our heritage and learn about history. Mrs. Gooley has set this up for our classes and it sure sounds great. Please be looking for your child's permission slip very quickly. September 8- Monday-Grandparents Day will be celebrated at Lutie. All elementary students are welcome to invite grandparents to come and join them until lunch time at school. This is a great opportunity to see our classroom, and join us for lunch. Pictures will be taken and picture packages available. More information will follow soon.

Some reminders:
Please check your child's planner. I will be sending home notes and correspondence at times for you to read through these. Grade reports will come home each Monday. If you have a question about why your child made that grade, please contact me at school. I would be happy to discuss these issues with you.
