braved the cold Friday morning, November
30. Seatbelt
check number two was a great success.
Patty Dooley passed out "Dumb Dumbs" to
those that did not wear seatbelts and "Smarties"
to those who did. She later shared her
story with the students, Patty is the
mother of Katelyn one of our 2007
graduates that lost her life in an
accident this year.

The Team
Spirit Reunion was held in Jefferson City April 23-24 2007.
Lutie
students met with students from 15 other schools in Missouri to
share ideas on traffic safety. We have information to share and hope
that this web site will be the stepping stone for our planned
activities this year.

Everyone You Love Safe
Team Spirit has begun the
Battle of the Belt. This is a state wide
program that was developed to reduce the
number of motor-vehicle-related injuries
and fatalities among Missouri high
school students by increasing their
safety belt use.
