Projects Project Evaluation Form

What is the Merit Badge Program? Fourth graders in Mrs. Lori Mathys's and Miss Lisa Spurling's classes at California Elementary School are invited to participate in a FUN and CHALLENGING program that enriches the classroom curriculum and encourages students to take their learning to new heights. For each unit of study in Science and Social Studies, the students are given a list of project ideas. Every Friday, the projects are presented in class. Projects that earn at least 9 out of 10 points possible on the Project Evaluation Form earn a sash and a merit badge. This project was initially funded in 2000 with a mini-grant from the Central District of the Missouri State Teacher's Association.
