By working actively with parents, children, and the community, we feel that we can promote the development of the total child—academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. Mission: The mission of the Van Buren R-1 School District is to provide the opportunity for the development of each child into an adult who can stand confidently, anticipate fully, learn continually, and develop pride in self, school, and community.
